Joachim Bosse is a conceptual artist and creative director living and working in Berlin. 15 years after Co-founding Berlins infamous pop culture power house DOJO he retired his job in advertising to fully engage in the art world.
Using hyperrealist sculptures, typography and mixed media he deals with consumerism, the influence of mass media and the role of social media in the digital age. He remixes pop culture and updates icons of art history in order to question contemporary identities and cultural values, describing his work as public messaging.
